What to do and see in Pedreguer

Pedreguer: Find out what to do and see!

This quiet municipality in the Marina Alta is the link between the coast and the mountain villages. Pedreguer borders Llosa de Camacho (Alcalalí), Beniarbeig, Benidoleig, Denia, Gata de Gorgos, Jalón, Lliber and Ondara. So it is a good place if you like both and want to be close to both.
Pedreguer is the perfect place to lose yourself in its narrow streets and enjoy the tranquillity, stroll through the streets of the village, enjoy its gastronomy, contemplate ancient constructions such as the "Porxens" and much more, in this guide we will tell you first hand the best plans for your visit to Pedreguer and its surroundings.

What are the Porxens?

The Porxens are iron and tile constructions that used to be in the square of the villages of the Marina Alta to protect the municipal markets, the one in Pedreguer is the only one that remains in good condition, it also has a drinking fountain between the two porches that connects to the town square which was restored in 1990, we definitely recommend you visit it on market day and live the experience as a Pedreguero more.
